The Gane Trust Award for Excellence at the Society of Designer Craftsmen’s Annual Exhibition this winter went to furniture maker Sean Evelegh at the event at Bankside. Sean’s commitment to his furniture making combines traditional techniques with innovative design and technology.  He is delighted to have won and will use the award to get a set of good quality tools and has the prospect of learning a new skill from a master carver. We can see his work going from strength to strength.
